On October 30, 2015, the traditional annual award Culture Deed of 2015 was announced at the culture conference in Viljandi. The honourable award was given to the interior architecture students of the Estonian Academy of Arts for their forest megaphone project Ruup, which has received wide international and local media attention. The megaphone idea came from Birgit Õigus and the wooden cones were constructed and installed by the students in the deep forests of Pähni in Võru county for travelers and hikers.
