This year, the legendary and always surprising ERKI Fashion Show, which takes place in the Estonian Academy of Arts and is born in cooperation with the students of the Estonian Academy of Arts, is looking for models for the fashion show on June 18.
The casting of the models will take place on May 4 at 12:00 in the atrium of the Solaris shopping center, at Estonia puiestee 9. At the event at Solaris, all those aspiring to the stage will be registered, measured and photographed. Among other things, the participants have the opportunity to show their catwalk skills, so to speak. Designers, models and casting agency Agency Icon will be present.
If you are at least 15 years old, want to try your hand at fashion, take part in a lively event and maybe even get the attention of scouts, then this is the opportunity for you!
According to Ann Marii Moorus, who previously appeared on the stage as a model during the casting, the ERKI fashion show is an intense experience for all participants: “For beginners or young people who are not actively engaged in modeling, it is an extremely eye-opening and powerful opportunity to peek behind the curtains of the fashion world and work with inspiring people. ERKI’s fashion show gives everyone who steps on the stage the opportunity to be the main character with a very colorful nature.
Monika Meier, for whom ERKI was one of her first experiences as a model, also acknowledged that participating in the ERKI fashion show was a powerful experience for her. “I became a model for Seoul through street casting, where I went with my girlfriend. The event itself was very excitingly structured and it was exciting to see the creations of young designers. The whole team, other models and designers were supportive and inspiring. The ERKI fashion show was a good starting point to understand how the fashion world works.”
For the casting, you must wear a t-shirt, top or dress in a neutral color, without a pattern or logo, and you can wear tight or short pants or a skirt. It is also important that the hair is clean and the face is free of make-up (light make-up is allowed). We ask that you wear tennis shoes and that girls bring heels and a hair band for long hair.
See you on May 4 at 12:00 in the atrium of the Solaris shopping center!
