First gathering of new international students in 2021
EKA is thrilled to announce that for the 18th consecutive year, we will host an Intensive Estonian Language Course from August 12-28. This year, the course welcomes our new international degree and exchange students from 40 different nationalities, bringing together a diverse group eager to learn the basics of the Estonian language.
Organized by EKA and funded by the ERASMUS+ programme, this language course is offered free of charge to all participants who secured a spot. The course is also open to students from Transform4Europe Universities.
The language course will be conducted by four experienced language teachers who will guide participants through engaging activities, practical exercises, and immersive techniques. The aim is to equip students with the ability to communicate effectively in real-life situations by the end of the course.
“We are excited to offer this opportunity for students to immerse themselves in the Estonian language and culture,” said Marilyn Riisimäe, the course coordinator. “Our program is designed to be both educational and enjoyable, providing a comprehensive introduction to the language while allowing students to experience the rich heritage of Tallinn.”
