SCHMUCK 2016, Handwerksmesse, Munich
24.02-01.03.2016
Curators Thomas Cohn and Tanel Veenre
The best of contemporary Estonian jewellery art will be on display as part of the Schmuck 2016.
Altogether 13 artists are repesented in the ESTONISHING ! with more than 50 works. The artistic intersection of artists is a quest for jewellery’ s primary elements through a contemplative approach, as well as the way they divorce themselves from the hubbub of the world by way of sensory subjectivity and clarity of thought. Jewellers are connected by a mutual sense of recpect, in wich the coexistence of mental spaces diverges like scattered villages.
13 Estonian jewellery artists: Kadri Mälk, Tanel Veenre, Nils Hint, Julia Maria Künnap, Piret Hirv, Kristiina Laurits, Eve Margus-Villems, Villu Plink, Maria Valdma, Ketli Tiitsar, Maarja Niinemägi, Sofja Hallik, Darja Popolitova
