Since 2024 Estonian Academy of Arts has been part of FashionTEX, a three-year project involving 11 European fashion universities, aimed at updating educational programs in digital fashion with a focus on the evolution of fashion education for future industry professionals. FashionTEX aims to provide specific tools to address the sector’s future challenges. Duration of the project is 3 years.

From March 11 to 14, 2024, all 11 partner universities of the FashionTEX project gathered at the Fashion Design Studio of UMPRUM Academy in Prague for an intensive and inspiring event. In a dynamic and creative atmosphere, representatives from across Europe discussed the next steps of the program, showcased progress, and developed new ideas for the digital future of fashion.
Estonian Academy of Arts was represented by Kristiina Nurk, a FashionTEX project coordinator and video artist Alyona Movko-Mägi as an expert.
