Estonian Academy of Arts’ thesis festival TASE ’23 opened with a performance, awarding of young creators and speeches on Freedom Square on May 31, followed by the opening of Architecture TASE in the main building of EKA.
On Freedom Square, the event was opened by Laboratory of Figurative Thought‘s (Kujundliku Mõtte Labor) deconstructed fashion show “You only have one minute”, supervised by EKA scenography professor Ene-Liis Semper.
The EKA Young Artist, Young Designer and Young Applied Artist awards were presented by Heidy Purga, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Estonia, Mart Kalm, Rector of the Estonian Academy of Arts, Pire Sova, organizer of the TASE ’23 grad show, deans of the Faculty of Design and Fine Arts of EKA, and members of the jury.
