This work was done in collaboration with a client Sensition Ltd. The aim was to develope a device that helps the first assistant with focusing. The new device provides the first assistant with accurate distance measurements (LED display) and communicates where the measurements are taken from (LCD display).
Console processes the data received from the sesnsor and displays the distance and subject that`s being measured. It is also used for the setup. The Sensor is a device that detects people and their distance from the camera. The Sensor is attached to the camera`s lens plane. The Console is attached next to the camera into a comfortable position for the focus puller.
