First year architecture students from the Estonian Academy of Arts spent 10 days at Pedaspea in Lahemaa area to build the 9th shelter project in the series. The project for this year is called PAKK and is designed by student Anna Liisa Saavaste.
Students must use the short period they have to prepare the building site, plan, build and solve any emerging problems.
The shelter as a test of space, shape and material on the scale of your own body is the central study problem of the spring semester for 1st year students at the Academy, tutored by Professor Andres Alver and assistants Ott Alver and Mari Rass.
