R. Eveleigh is a designer, writer and researcher working independently or with artists, archives, editors, cultural institutions and publishers to produce graphic identities, typefaces, websites, texts, talks, books and other works. She is interested in the historic and methodological relationship between graphic design and queer culture. Together with Isa Toledo, she runs ButchCamp, a project plotting the uncharted herstory of camp from a sapphic perspective.
Recent and ongoing collaborations include: Eastside Projects, Book Works, The Met Opera, Casco Art Institute, Valiz, Goldsmiths, Assemble, MK Gallery, The Showroom and University of the Arts London, amongst others. Teaching, workshops and lectures have been given at Camberwell College of Arts, May Day Rooms, Winchester School of Art, Glasgow School of Art and KABK. And with Isa Toledo, R has written for Teen Vogue, Dazed, i-D and Girls Like Us. She holds an MA from the Werkplaats Typografie and lives in Amsterdam.
