On December 22, 2020 EKA received a confirmation of a positive result to our application for ERASMUS Charter for the period of 2021 – 2027. The letter from European Commission, signed by Vanessa Debiais-Sainton said:
“Having completed the evaluation, we are pleased to inform you that your application has been positively evaluated and that your institution will be awarded the “ERASMUS CHARTER FOR HIGHER EDUCATION 2021-2027” quality certificate.”
Since 1999, when EKA joined with the ERASMUS programme, thousands of individuals – our students, current alumni, teachers and staff have participated in the programme and have thus received a diverse education and/or experience in their life. ERASMUS has improved our community’s professional knowledge and skills, awareness of European dimension, democracy and cultural diversity. We are happy to be among the selected universities able to continue with the opportunities that the new EU funding period of 2021 – 2027 allows.
