Transform4Europe’s first annual PhD Conference, “Societal Transformations and Sustainable Development with Respect to Environment in the Post-Covid-19 Digital Era” is held from 8th to 9th December. The Dean of the Faculty of Art Culture, Professor Hilkka Hiiop, Associate Professor Riin Alatalu and PhD fellow and junior researcher Sille Pihlak will represent EKA.
Pihlak will give a lecture on somatic modularity on Wednesday at 16.45 (EET) , Hiiop and Alatalu speak as keynote speakers on the conference’s second day. Their plenary session “UNESCO Chair at the Estonian Academy of Arts: challenges in research-based and inclusive heritage management” is scheduled for 10.45 to 11.15 (EET) on Thursday, 9th December.
This year’s doctoral conference will focus on three topics:
- societal change, community building and inclusion;
- digital change and smart regions;
- environmental change and sustainability.
