Ragne has been a PhD student and junior researcher at the Institute of Art History and Visual Culture since 2022. Her academic background is connected to Estonian Arts Academy and Tartu University.
From 2006 to 2022 she worked on various projects at the Estonian Art Museum KUMU, including curating some exhibitions of sound art.
In her PhD research Ragne is concentrating on Female Baltic German and Russian artists, who worked in Estonia between the end of the 19th century and 2nd World War and problems of researching lost or destroyed art relics.
