Successful NBAA Meeting at Aalto with Participation by Dean of Architecture Sille Pihlak
On April 18th and 19th, a networking meeting focused on architectural education took place at Aalto University in Finland, marking a significant advancement in the cooperation of the Nordic and Baltic Architecture Schools Network (NBAA). The meeting gathered key figures from the elite of Nordic and Baltic architectural education, including the Dean of the School of Architecture, Sille Pihlak.
The meeting, hosted by Pirjo Sanaksenaho, Head of the Architecture Department at Aalto ARTS, brought together leaders of schools, directors of educational and architectural programs, and coordinators of studies from different parts of the network. The agenda was packed, covering topics such as the post-COVID teaching environment, updates to curricula driven by sustainability and artificial intelligence, and the promotion of smooth learning pathways.
The meeting once again emphasized the importance of joint initiatives and collective effort in advancing architectural education across the entire Nordic and Baltic region.
