From 7 to 13 October 2024, interior architecture master students will be in Lisbon, where local landscape architect Kaisa Masso will lead a week-long workshop on urban writing.
The aim of the workshop is to support the writing process in the early stages of their Master’s thesis. The workshop will take place in the heart of the city of Lisbon, covering the neighbourhoods of Alfama, Bairo Alto, Martim Moniz, Avenidas Novas and Estrela. Each day, students will be given a new assignment related to the aforementioned areas, focusing on writing, sketching and interventions in public space. In addition, students will visit local architecture and design studios.
The one-week workshop will be led by Kaisa Masso, an anthropologist and landscape architect who has lived in Lisbon for the last 16 years. She is the author of the bestselling book “My Portugal”, published by Petrone Print.
