Installation and Sculpture Department of EKA announces Young Sculptor’s Award competition for 2025.
The competition will be held in two stages – consultation and final round.
The purpose of the consultation round is to provide feedback, recommendations for further work and practical advice on implementation based on initial concept designs. No selective decisions are made based on this. Feedback day is December 10, 2024 and you can register for it here. We welcome participants from all fine arts students of EKA.
The deadline for submitting the works for Award Exhibition is January 12, 2025
The proposal submitted to the competition must contain the title of the work, a description of the idea (up to 1000 characters) and visual material (design or drawing, if necessary, links to sound or video) with information about the dimensions of the work, the materials used and specifics of execution/installation. Please submit all information in one pdf file.
We accept proposals from individual authors to enter the competition with works completed in 2024 and not exhibited outside EKA or with idea for a new work. Works with shared authorship or group work will not be discussed.
