Interior Architecture teachers and alumni along Association of Estonian Architects’ annual award nominees

The nominees for this year’s annual awards of the Association of Estonian Architects have been announced. The winners will be announced at a ceremony on 23 January 2025.

This year, a total of 51 projects were submitted for the annual awards in two categories: 31 for the Architect of the Year and 25 for the Small Prize. The jury has selected a total of nine nominees. In addition, the Association awards a Student Prize.

Among the nominees for the Union of Estonian Architects’ Architect of the Year Award are our lecturer Siiri Vallner and Indrek Peil for the reconstruction of Vana-Kalamaja Street.

Among the nominees for the Association of Estonian Architects’ Small Award:

City-Machine. Mariann Drell (lecturer at the Department of Interior Architecture) and Ruuben-Jaan Rekkor and Johan Kirsimäe (supervisors of Site-Specific Construction studio in our Master’s programme).
