The ESTONIAN ACADEMY OF ARTS seeks an ERASMUS+ intern for the ERKI FASHION SHOW!
DUTIES: HELPING WITH DAY–TO–DAY ACTIVITIES, KEEPING TRACK OF MEDIA AND PARTNERSHIP ENQUIRIES, COMMUNICATING WITH DESIGNERS AND OTHER PARTICIPANTS, GENERATING IDEAS, ETC.
LOAD: The workload will grow as the event approaches. Approximately 15–25 hours per week from January–March, and 35–40 hours per week from April–May. During the week of event, working days will be 10–12 hours.
ERKI Fashion Show is organized by the Estonian Academy of Arts and is the most important competition for fashion students and up-and-coming fashion designers in Estonia. In 2017, the show will celebrate its 30th jubilee. Side events like a retrospective exhibition, a seminar about innovations in the industry, and a huge after-party will be organized. We’ve involved an international jury and will encourage designers from neighboring counties to participate as well. This will be our most ambitious event to date — we’re building an experimental room for the show, publishing a book about the history of the event and invite key people in the industry to give presentations at the seminar.
