Estonian Academy of Arts Architecture and Urban Design department’s MA graduate Mihkel Meriste was awarded the Tallinn City Anton Uesson scholarship for his research into transport-oriented urban development programmes in different countries, stressing the potential new use of the Väo quarry, currently closed for public.
The goal of the scholarship is to motivate Estonian Academy of Arts students to carry out architectural and urban planning related research in the fields and on topics relevant and interesting for Tallinn City.
