“Glass and Light: Transparency, translucency and opacity” is the title of the exhibition curated by Regina Lara (Brazil), which opened at the department of Contemporary Art at the Marinha Grande Museum of Glass, on the 8th of April.
The exhibition brings together a procedural and creative dialogue between four artists: The Brazilian Regina Lara, the Portuguese Teresa Almeida, the Estonian Mare Saare and the Irish Suzannah Vaughan.
The arguments of this meeting of artists are the values – almost grounds – in the art of glass: Transparency, translucency and opacity. Each of the artists collaborate in some way so that the public would understand the multidimensionality of glass, contemporary in its expression.
