In 2017, Maria did an internship at the graphic design studio Node in Berlin. She then continued her studies in Amsterdam at the master’s programme Critical Studies of the Sandberg Institute, where she developed research, written and artistic practices relating to the subject of visual, linguistic and affective communication. One of her most prevalent research interests is food and its semiotic and cultural meanings.
