Mikk Heinsoo is a graphic designer working in Tallinn. He studied at the EAA Department of Graphic Design and graduated from Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam.
Mikk is one of the founders of the design collective of Stuudio Stuudio and mainly works in the cultural sector, engaged in identity and exhibition design and creating printed publications and websites. Among other things, Mikk has designed the visual identity and print publications for the ART IST KUKU NU UT festival of contemporary art, the SISU—LINE interior architecture magazine and created catalogue and exhibition designs for the Center of Contemporary Arts Estonia, Tartu Art Museum and the Art Museum of Estonia. Most recently Mikk and Stuudio Stuudio are the desginer behind the new visual identity of the Estonian Academy of Arts.
Mikk has taught at the EKA Department of Graphic Design since 2008. In 2017, he supervised a design workshop at the Kunsthochschule Kassel as part of the Learning Design Learning programme organised by Katja Gretzinger.
