Norman Orro is a freelance graphic designer, artist and producer based in Tallinn and Amsterdam. He graduated from the department of Graphic Design at The Estonian Academy of Arts in 2009, and now continues at the academy as a teacher, dealing with trends, lifestyles and networks.
As a designer, Orro specializes in the cultural field, including poster and exhibition design. As an artist and producer, he takes an interest in topics such as globalization, posthumanism and exotica. These topics are also dealt with in Norman’s sound art project Music for Your Plants, which was also featured in the soundtrack of the Chinese pavilion at the 2015 Venice Biennale and part of the an audio-visual web installation on the DISmagazine platform. Orro is teaching at the department since 2014.
