Accreditations
The Estonian Academy of Arts (EKA) is accredited institutionally by the Estonian Quality Agency for Education (HAKA). The Assessment Council of HAKA decided to accredit the Estonian Academy of Arts for the next seven years and awarded it the HAKA Quality Label (granted in July 2024 and valid until 2031).
Since January 1, 2012, only institutions of higher education which have passed the evaluation of quality of studies are allowed to provide higher education.
In the HAKA database, you can get acquainted with:
- assessment decisions and reports given to study program groups on BA and MA level and on PhD level;
- institutional accreditation decisions and reports.
EKA’s Research, Development and Creative (RDC) activities received positive results in the regular national R&D evaluations in the field of humanities and arts in 2017 and in the field of engineering and technology (architecture and urban planning) in 2021.
