The study assignment of term 8 was not to focus on a single family but to create a model for living for a wider community in a specific urban spatial environment with the solution requiring extensive knowledge of urban geography, demographic sociology and building typology as well as the development of new forward-looking models for living for the respective solutions. All the skills and knowledge must find a purposeful output in the form of an apartment building project with its location and ideas related to the urban construction development plan completed during the previous term. The aim of the spring term task was to simulate a real urban situation in an academic environment where the spatial developments occurring on adjacent plots have a mutual impact on each other’s prospects and options. As the end result, altogether fourteen unique apartment buildings of about 8000 m² were completed in the designated quarter.
