Kädi Talvoja is a historian of art, a senior researcher at the Estonian Academy of Arts Insitute of Art History and Visual culture. Her main interest is in the Soviet era.
She has been the curator of the Soviet period at the Estonian Art Museum, but together with her doctoral studies found a way to the academic world. In her research she has taken a look at the change in discourse during the Soviet era and its effect on Estonian art culture and research.
At the Estonian Academy of Arts she teaches Art History of the 2nd half of the 20th century.
