Students of the Sustainable Design MA course at the Estonian Academy of Arts will be presenting their ecodesign products and the Sustainable Design Lab (SDL) will be launched on May 18th at 14.00 in Hobuveski (Lai 47, Tallinn)
EAA’s master’s course students 2015/2016 of the sustainable design course will present their design in in the field of eco-design.
EAA’s fashion design brand HULA will be rebranded, the environmental footprint of Tallinn City Theatre will be revealed and newly developed products for small animals of of the Tallinn Zoo will be presented. The annual course of sustainable design for MA students of the EAA together with the Stockholm Environment Institute Tallinn Centre, Erasmus + Innolabs project and with many other partners will culminate in a new laboratory for sustainable design at the Estonian Art Academy.
We will show the updated wastemapping site of www.reuse.ee, which will be also a platform for the new products of HULA. Trash to Trend (TTT) brings together designers from different countries, who use the excess materials for their new products,. TTT works as educational base for the new SDL laboratory. To each product will get a transparent calculator that provides the customer with information about what, where and by whom the product has been designed and manufactured.
