SISU-LINE Welcome Stranger! is a provocative call to step out of one’s comfort zone against the background of the migration crisis in Europe to discuss who is a stranger and when a stranger becomes one from the point of view of the spatial environment. Migration is a hot topic in today’s world – movement can be both forced and voluntary. Here, the changed behavioral patterns of people’s domestication and adaptation are reflected in today’s real space. We are talking about spatial intelligence, i.e. the interrelationship between place, architectural space and people, in which the ability to create new inspiring solutions in a different cultural space and landscape, political and climatic environment is manifested – to use space in a different way. Everyone has the option to choose between alienation and hosting.
