From November 6–8, a CIRRUS network seminar on design and artistic research was held at the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen, attended by 11 representatives from the Estonian Academy of Arts: Björn Koop, Carol Tikerperi, Mari Maiste, Lauri Hivesaar, Stella Runnel, Ruth-Helene Melioranski, Jaana Päeva, Sirle Rohusaar, Marilyn Riisimäe, Sandra Mell, and Ott Kagovere.
During the seminar, presentations were given by Ann Sofie Raun, a student from the Royal Danish Academy who studied at EKA, along with Ott Kagovere and Marilyn Riisimäe.
The seminar targeted lecturers, workshop masters, managers, and coordinators, offering a platform for sharing knowledge and discussing ways to develop frameworks in art education, teach artistic methods, and enhance students’ artistic skills and competencies.
EKA’s participation in the CIRRUS seminar helped strengthen collaboration between Nordic and Baltic art education institutions, providing opportunities for discussion and setting common goals in the field of art education.
