Dear Estonian Academy of Arts,

Greetings from Riga! My name is Anna Iltnere, and I am the Editor of Arterritory.com – an art and culture website that focuses on Scandinavian, Baltic and Russian art, as well as the manifestations of this art elsewhere in the world. The website’s goal is to give its readers professional information and personal insight on the latest happenings, current trends and movements taking place in the market.

We would be glad to introduce them with our website, which is a great source of information about art exhibitions, art theory, market, design and architecture in Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, as well as Scandinavian countries and Russia. 

Published in three languages – English, Russian and and Latvian, our media Arterritory.com has already gained a large audience – one that not only includes art enthusiasts, but also students, industry professionals and established collectors. In December 2012, Arterritory.com launched its first magazine in printed form – “Arterritory Conversations”, a collection of the most vivid and exclusive interviews from our vault; in the future, it will be continued as an annual publication in the English, Russian and Latvian languages. 

To date, we have had the opportunity to introduce our readers to the opinions of well-known art world authorities such as: German art collector Thomas Olbricht; British artist Mike Nelson; Danish fashion designer Henrik Vibskov; Icelandic performance artist Ragnar Kjartansson; gallerist Marat Guelman from Moscow; also Victor Misiano; director of the prestigious Whitechapel Gallery, Iwona Blazwick; and British artist and Turner Prize laureate, Martin Creed, just to mention a few. Next week we will publish an interview with the curator Hans Ulrich Obrist, which we met last week in London.

We would be thrilled to come to Tallinn, visit Estonian Art Academy and meet the students, so we could introduce ourselves and also mutually share ideas about the content, that would interest Your students. 

We would be happy if students from different art, art history and design discipline could come.
